My artwork is the result of an effort to document and highlight things that fascinate me while exploring the capabilities of oil paint. I try to continually push myself by finding challenging objects or situations to paint. Things that fascinate me the most are objects or vistas that are missed or ignored. Sometimes they are hidden and you have to go off the beaten path to find them, or sometimes they’re right in front of our faces as we see them every day.
