About Me

My artwork is the result of an effort to document and highlight objects and vistas from everyday life that draw my attention and beg for a deeper understanding. The time I spent observing is time that I get to spend studying and understanding what I draw and paint. I’m especially interested in the easily missed or ignored of daily life. Sometimes these things are hidden and require me to go off the beaten path to find them, or sometimes they’re right in front me.

With my art and my practice, it is my hope to inspire people’s curiosity and bring more wonderment to their life by bringing attention to these observations and creating work that accentuates the mundane.

With this site, I am intentionally merging together many of my interests to see what kind of synergy can occur between my different interests. In addition to painting and drawing, I work in sculpture, music, printing, electronic circuits and sensors, writing, kinetic imagery, crafts, repairs and ethical hacking.
